Pauline Clerc
Candidate for admission to the psychologist's license by way of OPQ equivalence
Pauline CLERC is a private office intern and is in the process of obtaining her Quebec psychologist designation from the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She graduated from the Université de Lorraine in September 2020 with a Master’s degree in human and social sciences, specializing in clinical psychology, psychopathology and health psychology, with a specialization in psychopathology of cognition and interactions. She completed two internships at two private clinics in Montreal from February 2021 to the present. She now wishes to join the Alpha Psy clinic, drawing on her past professional and personal experience to help a clientele with a wide range of backgrounds and problems.
She offers her psychotherapy services to adult clients experiencing difficulties related to anxiety, stress, symptoms of depression, life transition/change and low self-esteem. She also has expertise in helping cancer sufferers manage the emotions associated with the diagnosis and the stress resulting from this care experience. Finally, Pauline wants to support LGBTQ+ people (LGBTQQIAAP), in their journey (announcement, coming-out, transition, etc.) and their personal development.
She is trained in the cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach, which includes 2nd and 3rd wave therapies and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also uses tools such as positive psychology. Psychotherapeutic interventions are tailored to each individual’s needs, issues and sensitivities.
With a warm, caring and empathetic approach, she accompanies you throughout your journey, with the aim of improving your well-being and quality of life.
